Cookie Policy
The site itself sets no cookies. The advertising it carries does. This page explains which, why, and how to control them.
Cookies we set ourselves
None. The calculators keep their state on the page while you use it and forget it when you leave. Your inputs are not remembered between visits, and there is no login.
Cookies set by advertising
The site carries advertising through Google AdSense. When an ad is served, Google and its advertising partners may set cookies on your device for these purposes:
- Ad delivery and frequency capping, so the same advertisement is not shown too many times.
- Measurement, so advertisers can tell whether an ad led to a visit or a purchase.
- Personalization, so ads can be chosen according to your interests inferred from the sites you visit. This purpose only operates if you have allowed it.
The main cookies involved are set on google.com, doubleclick.net and googlesyndication.com domains. Google describes them, with their typical lifetimes, at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies. Google’s partners may set their own cookies; a list is available at support.google.com/admanager/answer/9012903.
How to change or withdraw consent
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, no advertising cookies are set until you answer the consent message. You can reopen the message at any time with the Privacy and cookie settings link in the footer of every page and change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawing consent stops future personalized advertising; it does not delete cookies already set, which you can remove in your browser.
Wherever you live, you can:
- turn off personalized advertising for your Google account at adssettings.google.com;
- opt out of many advertising companies at once at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu;
- block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies does not affect the calculators, which do not need them.
Hosting
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a cookie named __cf_bm or similar on some requests to tell real browsers from automated traffic. It contains no personal information, is not used for tracking, and expires within 30 minutes. See the privacy policy for how hosting data is handled.
